Reduced Counter-Rotation
If your pelvis and thorax don't rotate in opposition, you lose the elastic recoil that makes walking efficient. Your muscles have to work harder, joints take more impact, and energy expenditure increases.
Foot Dysfunction
Over-pronation, supination, or poor toe-off mechanics change the entire loading pattern up the chain. These seemingly small issues at the foot level can manifest as knee pain, hip tightness, or lower back problems.
